Burnham Health Promotion Trust (BHPT) recognises that privacy is important to the individual and we are therefore committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of the people benefiting from all of the services we offer and those connected and concerned with the delivery of them.
How we use your personal information
We use your information to enable us to operate the charity effectively and efficiently and where there is a valid reason to do so or you have given your consent. It enables us to develop an understanding of those benefiting from our work and helps us in our provision of initiatives to promote, sustain and enhance physical, emotional and mental health and wellbeing for all in the Burnham Community. It also includes those agencies that host in partnership with us, our volunteers, our staff, our donors, supporters and volunteers and those using our website or who want to receive information from us.
We are fully committed to respecting and protecting your information, using it reasonably and in line with the Data Protection Act 2018 and the General Data Protection Regulations 2018. Personal information is any information that you give us that enables you to be identified. This includes your name, your home address, your homes telephone number, your personal e-mail address. It may also include photographs and case studies. Processing in relation to personal information means anything we may do with the information such as obtaining it, accessing, recording, disclosing, destroying and using the data in any way. We process your personal information securely to ensure protection against unauthorised or unlawful processing and against accidental loss or destruction.

Once we have received notification that you have withdrawn your consent, we will no longer process your personal information, except where legally required and, subject to our retention policy, we will dispose of your data securely.
