The Dash Charity
The Dash Charity is a local award winning charity that supports women, men and children affected by domestic abuse.
Last year Dash reached out to over 6500 people. They offer a refuge service, advocacy & outreach service, intensive children’s services in schools and one-to-one therapeutic support. They also run the Freedom Programme and Freedom Plus Programme, which are group led programmes for women which enable survivors to recognise the tactics used by abusers and move forward with their lives. Finally, they also provide specialist domestic abuse training for professionals and organisations.
At BHPT we are committed to helping make positive changes and have supported the Dash refuge house via their Amazon Wish list and hope to work together closer in the future.
